Have you ever wished you were smarter? wiser? Most people have. “Hindsight is always 20/20” so goes the popular quip. “If only I’d have known” or “I should have seen that coming,” we say. Some things we “miss” are not that consequential. Other matters along life’s path are BIG. With such things, better to “measure twice and cut once” rather than “measure once and cut twice.”
The Father God who made us and knows us (cf. Psalm 139:1-6) offers us a “measure twice, cut once” resource. It’s called WISDOM, and true, timely wisdom comes from Him; specifically, His Son (His Incarnate Word) and His Word (His written word). Highlighted this week--God’s wisdom is abundantly available.
